It does not tell you whether you are a high-salt sweater replacing volume but not solute, which is the scenario that leads to cramping late in a match when serum concentration has been falling for an hour.
What we therefore will not do We will not prescribe a fixed sodium dose on the strength of a quiz or a resting blood panel, because neither one tells us what you lose. A during-session drink is the only intervention that makes sense here, and the dose has to scale with how much you actually sweat β which is the one thing a panel cannot report and you can. We would rather give you the composition and let you adjust the volume to your own rate than pretend a capsule solves a problem that varies threefold person to person and again day to day with temperature and work rate.
